During 2014 I entered Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association Trophy Competition. where They wanted a new design of there trophy I created a design for the trophy that was modernised by breaking down the shape of the horse into 3 sections (1st, 2nd, 3rd) making the singular horse when viewed at a particular angle. This was all done through DIT where the School in tandem with the ITBA has a commitment to excellence and the standard of entries into the design competition was very high.
"Horses, being wonderful and complex animals, are hard to represent. The winning design, by Interior Design Student James Cash captures horses in motion, implying dynamic movement in a static object. Runners up were Visual Communications student James Leahy and Product Design student Christopher Wallace."
